SweatFest, Day 4: The Dayoffening

Last night was my day off SweatFest, so my counter hasn’t budged. I just wanted to log in to mention that not dancing after several consecutive days of dancing feels really weird– much much weirder than the fatigue of doing 7 classes in 3 days– twitchy, restless, boredish– like it would be WAY better not to have a day off. Could it be that fitness is habit-forming? Maybe I’ll go skating or to the pool on my “days off” from now on.

You’re so cool. I’ve gotta get dancing again…miss that feeling!
I read *I Was A Teenage Popsicle* on the metro on my way to/from classes this week, Bev! (see look, it’s down there in my GoodReads list now)
No one told me there would be popping in it. Or gentrification. Or in-line skating. Or a big media-relations-campaign-as-plot-point. So I had fun with it, in other words.
Dancing ~is~ a good feeling. You could check out my friend Maehem’s Street Dance Academy in Toronto, for your own sweat fest: http://streetdanceacademy.com/
