I have a bit of necessary horn-tooting to do this morning.
First, an interview with the CBC Book Club:
“Since I was into breaking at the time, it seemed natural and I was thinking about the group dynamics and how challenging it is to get a group together and keep it together with different personalities. I thought it would make a good story.”
It did. Break On Through follows the life of Nadine, who has her world taken out from under her when she is forced to leave the neighbourhood and lifestyle she’s known all her life. She’s angry, but relatable, mainly because her teenage angst is so authentic.
And then, my VERY FIRST video blog entry, in which I teach YOU how to procrastinate properly by baking pumpkin-cinnamon English muffins. It’s the first in what I envision to be a loose series of videos about my glamourous writer’s life.
