Workshop at Pointe-Claire Public Library
I hope everyone out there is having a good summer despite the rainy weather. (Or perhaps it’s not even raining where you are, in which case, good for you!) A couple of weeks ago, I handed off a revision of my next novel, Rhythm & Blues to my editor at Doubleday Canada, and then the very next morning, I moved apartments. I think I’m getting settled now. I’m back to working on my next two projects, and starting to remember to blog and whatnot, and I’m getting unpacked, and entertaining house guests, and hanging out with interesting new people, and life is pleasantly ripe with ideas and possibilities, much like summer itself.
I’m doing a fun thing this week: My “Research In Motion” creative writing workshop at the Pointe-Claire Public Library (100 Douglas Shand Ave.), this Thursday, from 2-4pm, with the help of B-Boy NmBR.. So if you’re a teen, aged 12-17, in Pointe-Claire, sign up (by calling 514-630-1218 ext. 1624), and come dance and write with us!
