Tell me where you work

I know I’m not the only one around here who would rather work almost anywhere than at her desk. For me, cafes are where its at.
Over on my other site– y-eh.ca, my Canadian YA and middle-grade books blog, I’m asking writers, editors and everybody to tell me where they like to work. I’m going to work it all into a big, fabulous directory of excellent spots to get work done, at home and all over the planet, so no one’s ever stuck with inspiration but without a latte.
So, if you have a favourite spot, please come tell me about it in the comments, over here. You don’t have to be a writer to answer. Students, film people, photographer types, bloggy people, frustrated lyricists, procrastinating artists, deejays with marketing ambitions, secretly geeky programmer-dancers– I see you all working across the room from me, so I hope you’ll help me out by revealing your secrets.
And don’t worry. I promise I won’t come bother you while you’re working
