Chill new krew on the scene

In the great tradition of b-girl Maehem’s long-since-melted Bonnie & Clyde partner, Bruce the Angry* Urban Snowman, the K-town Kold Krew burst on the scene this weekend in Kingston. Formed mere hours ago under the direction of Missy Fit and Renewable Energy, they are already fans of Street Dance Academy, Hip Hop Karaoke, and (I’m so flattered, I’m blushing), Break On Through. (I hope they stay frozen long enough to make it to the Toronto Release party on Feb. 16th!)
This seems to be a response to one B-Girl Psyche’s earlier announcement that she was taking up with an unnamed trio of Mr. Freeze imitators.

Now that’s breaking the ice. (Ba-dum-ching!) Hopefully they can keep their beef on the dancefloor, keep it friendly, and prevent this whole thing from turning into one big, nasty snowball fight.
*With apologies to Bruce.

i can’t believe we made the blogger news!!!
Please! How could you not?
Renewable Energy? You christened a new bgirl and didn’t let me know!?!?!
I’m going to have to send over my crew of Sandmen to settle this score…watch out!
(Sweet name, tho.)
I didn’t christen Renewable Energy. I pulled that from Missyfit’s Facebook photo.
Sandmen? Can’t wait.
Ack! Myssfit (Barb) was pressuring me to come up with a name so we could post the damn pics! And….Renewable Energy just seemed pretty appropriate, given the field that I work in, and it also sounds kind of intimidating, and a bit like an action hero (to me). Heh.
