The other day, in a comment thread for my post about the revolutionary new triple-post human stabilization system currently being deployed across the STM metro system, I described an art-transformed subway car that had caught my attention back in the fall.

The car belonged to a programme called L’Art Prend le Metro (Art Takes the Metro), and when I originally rode it, I failed to procure any photos or audio, due to a combination of surprise and distraction. I was bemoaning this lapse the other day, when what should happen, but the very next metro car I stepped into was one of the exact cars I was describing. Thanks, fate!

It was a super-crowded rush hour voyage, so I wasn’t able to get any photos, nor much of a good view, but I did manage to capture some video, and more importantly, audio, with my point-and-shoot Canon. In adition to the illustrious deep blue faux-wood panneling, please note, in particular, the accordion and chicken sounds.
