Something’s different– did you change your hair?

Jill's surprising hair

Surprise! And happy October 27th, the kickoff of my week off– a week in which I will probably work as much as or more than I usually work, just entirely on my own projects and not at all on anyone else’s. This is what passes for freedom around here.

For about a month now, I’ve been working on a new design for this site. I’ve been itching for something a little fresher, that will tie in better with the release of my upcoming novel, and afford more room for expanded features. Today, after some light testing in IE, I decided it was ready to launch.

This will be the first of many upcoming enhancements, and I’m really excited about all the good stuff to come. I hope you like it, but should you happen to notice anything wonky with the new design, I’ll be very grateful if you let me know about it in the comment thread (be sure to mention which browser and OS you’re using). I’ll do my best to fix any bugs as they come up.
