Basho- what were they thinking?

“Basho”: it means “tournament” in Japanese, or “if you can’t see why these are offensive, we don’t need to be friends” in Jill.

Omg, I just had to go check the skymall website to make sure you weren’t making this up. Unbelievable. And just what my living room is missing.

There are just so many things wrong about the submissive posture of the sumo holding the coffee table on his back I think I have to go lie down. Maybe SkyMall is secretly sponsored by white power organizations?

I honestly think if I walked into someones house and saw that coffee table in their living room I’d crap my pants on the spot. It is insanely offensive.

It isn’t even a good table! It looks like it is tipping over, and how large is the ’sculpture’? who buys this?
I think the table one looks sad.

I guess the line of “Basho the Poet” coffee tables didn’t sell so well. Although maybe he sabotaged it before-hand, with this one:

kneel before His Lordship -
spring under His reign
