Cooking With The Stars
The ever-industrious Jennrock had an article in The Star yesterday about “life lists” on sites like 43 Things, inspired, of course, by daytime talk TV.
She made the observation that many celebrities list learning to cook as a goal, and suggests that a celebrity cooking show shoould be the obvious outcome.
I have no TV production experience (except that one sitcom-waiting-to-happen of a class in Theatre School to which TSG would sometimes show up drunk, no doubt adding to realism of the working experience) but would like to offer myself up as a consultant to Cooking With the Stars nevertheless.
I can’t understand why this hasn’t been done before. We’ve danced with the stars, we’ve punk’d the stars, we’ve visited the cribs of the stars and the cars of the stars and imitated the stars, and mocked the decline of the stars, and we have several networks devoted entirely to the grooming of celebrity chefs. Why not combine the two?
Will people watch Harry Hamlin in an Iron-Chef cookoff against Willa Ford? I think we already know the answer to that.

There actually was a celebrity challenge on the Food Network earlier this year. I can’t remember what it was called, BUT Sami from Days of our Lives was a contestant!
OK, so who else was on, and who won?
The White Mocha only knows so much…
Dude that is Awesome! I love the idea. I would love to see Harry Hamlin and Carrot Top chopping and dicing on national tv. How can we make this happen …
