Get your metro on
In case you were wondering, these are the logos of the metros I have ridden thus far, in order of ridership.

I’m not sure why you would be wondering that, but I do love public transit, and there is something dorkily appealing about perusing all the metro system logos of the world at b3co.com, and they have a thing that makes it easy to blog about. (Found out about it on Torontoist.)
As logos go, I like Montreal and San Francisco best. I’m not sure whether I subjectively like the London logo, or whether it’s just burned in my brain becuase it’s a very good universally known logo. And it’s pleasant that the TTC logo is so olde-tyme.
Each of the systems has its own mix of benefits, but I have to say that Muni has the best policy for single fares, Montreal and London make it easiest to go the most places, and San Diego is so slow, it’s no wonder everyone drives there, except the elderly, who use every bus like a private social club.
