On December 30, 2005, I declared “Mash-up” the most overused term of 2006. So far 2006 is backing me up on that. I can still appreaciate a proper-use/funny instance of the term, however.

I have to agree, the mashup moniker is very over-used. However, I do think that, unlike so many colloquialism’s, it perfectly describes it’s subject.
I’ll return the linkage.
Oh, yeah, totally appropriate– when describing a mash-up of songs, where I believe the term originated.
It’s the spread of “mash-up” to non-musical hipster arenas I find grating.
That sh*t is DOPE! I wonder if Kendall’s heard it… If he hasn’t, he will now. Thanks Jill!
