I’d like to say hi to all the new readers who’ve been visiting from ThePPK and LiveJournal. (Anyone who’s already been reading for a while, please know your “hi” is always implied.)
Last week, Isa Chandra Moskovitz, author of the Vegan With A Vengeance cookbook very graciously and humourously linked back to my bean series. In my new world, that’s like the coolest girl in school coming to your party, and telling you your hummus is good, in front of everyone.
Since then I’ve been meeting lots of new people. I’m really excited to find out about this sprawling international vegan foodie community, and to read everyone’s recipes and comments.
A particular shout out is due to Joanna, who has picked up the Big Pot O’ Beans torch and is running with it over at her Daily Vegan site. She’s even made cookies out of beans. It’s awesome. If you’re hungry for even more beans, that’s the next place you want to go.
