Dearest Reader, I sometimes get so excited about a book or author, it’s all I can talk about for weeks. This is a terrible burden on my close friends. Worse, when I’m done with my New Favourite Book, I scour the internet for articles, spend days in libraries trying to catch up with So And So’s previous output, and in the process, acquire so much specific knowledge that I become lonely in having no one with whom to discuss it.
