Who's Bad?

It’s 1:30am, babies. How much coffee did I drink today? 4 cups. Crazy, I know, but that’s the kind of girl I am– moderate, well-meaning, non-smoking, really quite almost balanced.
Here are some other rebellious things I’ve done in my life:
Age 7: Reading by the light of the clock radio after bedtime (8pm).
Falling asleep from eye strain. (8:20pm)
Age 9: Attempting to throw large ball of burrs at neighborhood bully.
Missing, immediately followed by running, screaming, itching, and wishing I had not worn a turtleneck sweater that day.
Age 11: Trying to cut own bangs despite Mom???s presumed wishes to the contrary.
Immediately cutting same tuft to the root to escape notice.
Struggling to explain stubble, regrowth and subsequent hint of bangs in months to follow.
Age 13: Skipping school to do research at the library.
Age 15 1/2: Going to see movie rated R 16+
Age 17: Getting busted for stealing liquor from mom’s cabinet after accidentally using too much gin while trying to duplicate secret soup recipe from nearby restaurant.
Age 18: Cutting hand on glass while breaking and entering
into own house, having forgotten keys while Mom on vacation.
Also, I can sometimes be seen leaving the house with wet hair when it’s cold out. I am, as they say (in what region, I’m not sure) “hardcore.”
